About
We build the part of the business that happens before the invoice
Most software for service businesses is designed around the transaction at the end. InvoiceSpider is designed around everything that has to go right before you get there — because that is where the work is actually lost.
The problem
Service businesses do not lose work in one place. They lose it in the gaps.
Ask a business where they lose jobs and most say price. Walk through the last ten that went nowhere and the answer usually changes.
Each gap looks small on its own. A late reply. A scheduling thread that took two days. A job that finished without anyone marking it ready to bill. None of them feel like a failure, which is exactly why they persist.
- 1
Between the enquiry and the reply
The enquiry exists, but in a place that belongs to nobody in particular. It is answered late, or twice, or not at all.
- 2
Between the interest and the booking
Five emails to fix one time. Every round trip is another chance for the prospect to book with someone faster.
- 3
Between the booking and the work
The sale is tracked and the appointment is in a calendar, but the job itself runs on a spreadsheet and a group chat.
- 4
Between the work and the invoice
The job is delivered and then forgotten, because completion was never recorded anywhere near the customer record.
Why the platform exists
Why it is called InvoiceSpider
In nature, a web is a masterpiece of efficiency and connectivity. Nothing in it is isolated — pull on one thread and the whole structure responds. We chose the name because we think a business should work the same way: the enquiry, the conversation, the booking and the job should all be connected, so that moving one moves the others.
The invoice half of the name is the honest part. It is where every service business is trying to get to. But it is also the least interesting problem, and the one most software already solves. By the time you are invoicing, the hard work is done.
What is not solved is everything before it. Most tools chase the final handshake. We build what happens before it — capture, qualification, follow-up, scheduling, delivery — because that is the stretch where opportunities quietly disappear.
That is also why we do not describe InvoiceSpider as a CRM, or a booking tool, or job management software. It is all three, deliberately, because the seams between those three products are precisely where the work goes missing.
“Most tools chase the final handshake. We build what happens before it.”
Product philosophy
Six things we believe about this problem
These are the rules we build against. They are also a fair way to judge whether the product is any good.
One record, not five tools
A lead that becomes a booking that becomes a job should be the same record throughout. Every re-entry is a chance to lose something, and every integration between separate systems is a seam that eventually leaks.
The system should not depend on memory
Anything that only works when a busy person remembers it will fail exactly when the business is doing well. Follow-up, ownership and status have to be structural, not diligent.
Context belongs to the customer, not the employee
When history lives in one person’s inbox, holidays and resignations cost you relationships. Records that hold their own context are what let a small team behave like an organised one.
Automate what fails silently first
The most valuable thing to automate is not the most complex process — it is the one whose absence produces no alert. A missed follow-up never announces itself.
Constraints beat manual judgement
Durations, buffers and stages are rules you already apply, applied inconsistently. Encoding them once gives up nothing and enforces them better than a person at 6pm on a Friday.
Say what the product does, and nothing more
We would rather answer a question with "ask us and we will confirm" than publish a claim we cannot stand behind. That applies to this website as much as to the product.
The company
Who builds it
InvoiceSpider is built by Blueleaf Technology, based in the United Arab Emirates. The platform is used by service businesses, agencies, consultants and appointment-based teams — the kinds of business whose work starts with an enquiry and ends with a job.
